The Review
"Serein Before Sunset" by Vladimir Gandelman is a short read that primarily follows the story of a man named Sanya from the Soviet Union whose love story endures hardship and distance before finding success. This was not only a short story but also simply written. There are no frills to this read and it almost felt unrealistic. There are many parts of the story that seem to happen so easily and just not the way life really happens. It does however have many feel good parts that keep you rooting for the entourage of characters.
